Double click on the photo above to visit Ana's Angels Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization founded October 03, 2003. Ana's Angels saves cats and dogs from the euthanasia list at various animal control shelters throughout Jacksonville and surrounding areas. These animals are examined by licensed veterinarians, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and adopted out to loving homes. Our adoptions are held at Petsmart in Oakleaf Town Center and at Petco on San Jose Boulevard. Visit us at these locations 7 days a week. Volunteers are on site every weekend.

The Mission of Safe Animal Shelter

To provide a temporary safe haven for abused, abandoned, lost and unwanted cats and dogs until adopted into a permanent home and to advocate spay/neuter as the only means to control animal over population.

Safe Animal Shelter has operated as a limited capacity "no kill" facility in Clay County, Florida since 1991. Over the years, Safe Animal Shelter has placed literally thousands of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens into loving permanent homes. We are dedicated to finding homes that consider an adopted pet a permanent member of their household and who will interact with and treat and love their pet like any other member of their family. When space is available, pets are taken in from a variety of sources such as Clay County Animal Control and from private citizens who have either found a stray or cannot keep their pet due to allergies, relocation, financial issues, etc.
